Lava Heart
Vanuatu is a very remote country in the South Pacific ocean. Those photographs were taken in Malicolo and Ambrym islands. Ambrym is home to a volcano and is the island of black magic while Malicolo hosted cannibal rituals for centuries. I wanted to show the country, the people and their relation to each other. Both are bewitching, full of life and beauty but they could suddenly become dangerous.
